My name is Amy, I’m a photographer based in Ames, Iowa.

What draws me to photography the most is the joy and spontaneity that can be captured in a single image. I love people, and truly believe that everyone has a story to tell. It brings so much joy to me to be able to tell a story -- your story -- through photography.

In 2007, I graduated with a degree in photojournalism and portrait photography. Currently, I'm enjoying life as a freelancer and business owner, and I'd love the opportunity to work with you. 

I am available for portrait and editorial photography and will happily travel.
